Within Seongbukdong Beedoolkee Theatre’s “Metamorphosis,” Kafka, the author the ‹Die Verwandlung› hosts a TV entertainment show(BSL). Some of the scenes are excerpted from the original novel and are put together as a series of episodes on stage. Kafka, in each episode, metamorphoses into different characters. Within his novel, he could freely metamorphose into Gregor or other characters and enjoy his joyful play. In the real world, however, just like Gregor was forced to metamorphose into a worm, Kafka, too, is forced to metamorphose constantly, against his will. Kafka, the panels of the show and we altogether have to constantly metamorphose into other beings in order to survive. This is the bitter truth. Living in the mixture of what we see and what’s behind it. That is the ‘Beyond Scene Live.’
